I was working yesterday and it felt great! I pitted by hand at least half a million cherries then cooked the little devils in their own juice. When they had cooled down they went into a jar and into the fridge. I know it doesn't sound like much but given the restrictions I am still labouring under I was thrilled to be able to do even that. There was company too so I was up and about until later on in the evening when Lola started moaning a bit. I was very glad to put my feet up but what a good feeling to have actually accomplished something!
Today we are stiff and a little sore so perhaps nothing more than a tour around the garden and some vicarious weeding. The garden is full of honeysuckle and Madonna lillies as well as a bumper crop of rasps. I have them for breakfast every morning.I can pick the perimeter while the two legged forage in the interior. Love rasps. Just love them!

I will come pick some rasps for you. I don't mind getting in the bushes/am capable of getting in said bushes, however I will request a sampling of cherries...if there are any left :)
