Oim back! Oi've bin busy with ther 'ayin but tis all in and as June as bin a gentle month. Moi maids ave bin fair clemmed for all the foin fodder we as now. Fair kickin up their 'eels to be out in the medders.
Oi'll tell you who else is bin 'avin a bit of 'eel kickin and that is Mother! Oi ask you! She 'as taken up with the Toi Cheer in a big way. She goes with the other gals to the W.I every Wednesday and orf to the medders they goes. Tis a sight Oi tell you. Oi ain't never seen the loik. They used to sing' ymns and have cookery classes and such when moi dear Mother went to the W.I. Ladyloik that were. But not this lot. There they are out in the medders wavin' they arms around and makin roight fools of theyselves. If Oi says owt oi'll end up with moi 'ead in my 'ands for sure.
Toi Cheer is from that there Orient says Mother and is to keep her rejoovinatered whatever that may be when it's at 'ome.
And what is wrong with a makin a good Devon split says Oi with good clotted cream from moi maids and good jam from our brambles? That's what ee should be doin at that there W.I. Oi says to Mother.
