Oops ,My Mistake

Remember that swan? Well it wasn't a swan. It was a snow goose. The reason I know that is from Roger Tory Peterson's Bird Book. I was looking through trying to see if the" swan" was a whistler or a trumpeter when I saw a picture of a snow goose. Now swans have black feet and snow geese have pink feet and that chap or madam on the Lakeshore had pink feet, ergo a snow goose. Well that makes more sense as there are a gazillion Canada geese wandering around. Why shouldn't a snow goose to be wandering around too? She/he was, according to RTP on his/her way to Mexico for the winter. But then we do have climate change and lots of goosey company up here so why not.
